WHAT IS THE AMOUNT NEED TO SEND FOR GIC? 10050 plus Service Charge of sending ba

Hi All,

I got an email from Scotiabank to deposit CAD10050.

10000 for GIC and 50 for administration charge.

When we send money the sending bank has a service charge of nearabout $40.

Is this service charge they mean as $50 for administration charge?

Please any body tell me what is the exact amount we need to send including GIC amount + administration amount + sending bank service charge

in gic you have to send 10050$ from any indian bank in which you have a/c . That will charge u around 1500 to 2000rs service chare. That all u need.

If you know please help me with this also;

I am living in UAE and applying the VISA from India.

Can I send the money from exchange houses (not banks) because their currency conversion rates are good than banks.

Is there any problem if I deposit an amount higher than CAD 10050 because exchange houses charges a service charge and they dont know how much is the exact amount, some times they will charge 10$ extra.

Anybody has any information?

u can't transfer more or less than 10050 CAD$ exact. U can transfer from any exchange houses but problem come when u want refund if ur visa get refused hope vo do'nt do that with u.

Hi

i need some help regarding the GIC thing, i am applying under SPP, i have the gic account details

1) is it necessary to make the GIC payment from a account that is in my name, i will be actually making the payment from my mothers account.

2) Since the scotia bank says that they need 10100 $ how much should i wire transfer considering that intermediary banks will debit their processing charges as well.

Kindly help.
