I'm just wondering what I can expect next roughly?
I did my medical and passed, got SA, submitted PCC and Schedule A, received AOR2 (VO is Mississauga).
Now what?
The next communication will be for the passport request (PPR). We received our request just short of 3 months after the medical request. I believe they also start the applicant's background check and eligibility during this time and I believe they try to line up the passport request at about the same time the background check will be complete.
You may see some movement on some of the lines in myCIC GCKEY, but the passport request will signal that you're right at the end of the process. They will send the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) approx 1 month after PPR
is your application inland then? the timelines and requests are a bit different than outland. When was your application received? Have you tried calling the call centre to ask if there are any outstanding messages or requests on your file?
Keep in mind that you may need to try several times before you get in an "on hold" queue. And when you get on hold, you might be waiting for up to an hour. So, best to try when you've got the time to wait.
I always asked "what was the last note on the file?" and "are there any outstanding requests or messages?"
