Hello,
I have been working in Quebec for last 2 years. To extend my work permit, my employer has issued a new job offer/contract letter. The letter states that this is extension of my job and also clearly states that:
- job is full-time and non-seasonal
- for 1 year
- job is listed in TEER 1
I have an active profile in express entry. I was wondering if I can select yes for the question "Do you have a valid job offer?"
I have looked in to the following link, but I don't find anything related to extestion of an existing job

Valid job offer is a job offer supported by LMIA or LMIA exempt job offer.
There's another similar term called "Offer of employment" that I see many get confused with a job offer supported by LMIA.
Federal skilled workers and Canadian experience class
A job offer is valid if the job is
- working for one employer
- continuous
- paid
- full-time (at least 30 hours a week)
- not seasonal
- for at least 1 year after we issue your permanent resident visa
- in a NOC TEER category 0, 1, 2 or 3

Thanks, it makes sense. However, just beneath the question in EE profile, it only asks followings
Does XXX have a job offer in Canada?
The offer must:
- be for full-time and for at least one year
- meet different requirements depending on type of job (i.e. some need apprenticeships and certification) and
- be non-seasonal for Federal Skilled Workers.
If I don't read the link you provided and follow the questnaire in EE, at the end job offer is added in my profile. Why don't they add "for at least 1 year after we issue your permanent resident visa" in the questionaire?
