Hi,

A few months after e-AOR, I got married and have raised CSE to report this status change. It has been 3 weeks and there is no response yet. Recently I received the PPR email, which I need to send the passport within 30 days. I believe CIC may take a long time to check the CSE, probably another 1 or 2 months.

Other than CSE, I have also sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, no reply yet after 2 weeks.

My question is, what may happen if the PPR email 'expires' after 30 days while the CSE is not checked yet. Is there a chance CIC close my application before checking the CSE. I'm willing to wait but worried CIC may cancel my application if they don't receive the passport.

I hope to hear your opinion. Thanks very much for the time and input!

Hi,
I am also in similar situation, I received passport request on 24th August 2017 and given 30 days of time to submit. My kids passports are going to expire soon and their validity is less than 6 months. I applied for renewal of passports and it will take atleast 4 weeks to receive. What would be the next step? I have already informed by email explaining the situation and received auto response saying that the reply will be received in 20 days. Please suggest.
