My Husband was approved to sponsor June 29th 2010..My application was sent to London on 30th June 2010...My Husband recieved his letter from CPC-Mississauga on 5th July 2010...E-CAS shows "In Process"..London started processing my application on 15 July 2010...1 week ago...I understand I get a letter with bar code stickers and the name of the IO processing my case? How long does it usually take to get the letter? What happens after I get my letter?
Sorry..being impatient!! :-[ I cant stand this waiting already!!
What happens after you get the letter? After you receive the letter you're supposed to create a voodoo doll in the likeness of the IO and stick pins in it when the processing of your file takes to long.
In other words, I have absolutely no idea. Hopefully someone else can help!
You will get the letter soon, then you sit and wait till they process it.So find something to keep you ocupied for the duration, when they need anything they will let you know.Keep your eyes on your email and post.
Just to let you know, you might not get a letter. I think London doesn't always send AOR. I think often the first thing people hear from London is either a request for more info or your PPR.
The first and only contact we had from London was PPR via email.

Just wait and try to be patient. London didn't send me AOR my contact was for extra paperwork and then to tell me to send my passport - they suck for contact! Just try to keep busy and hope it doesn't take too long!
