What happens in Phase 2 of Spouse sponsorship

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know what exactly happens in phase 2 after file is moved from Mississauga ,Ontario to New Delhi?
More importantly after how long should my wife expect an email from CIC Consulate ?

Its been almost a month since my wife's file was moved to New Delhi after we cleared the phase 1 successfully.

Hi Zormas, what happens now is you become very good and patient with waiting ! Actually I hear ND is one of the faster VOs so you may want to try the specific thread for the 2013 New Delhi folks at:

NDVO will ask for the passport very early. This doesn't mean they are near done - they just like to ask for it early. We had 3 applicants through NDVO in January 2013 Outland. They have all gotten their passport request, no one has gotten an interview or visa yet that I am aware of. (Link is in my signature if you would like to look.)
