As far as my knowledge is verification can be still going on, i have seen some applicants who have submitted their passports and its been months they have not heard anything and when they enquire visa office say background check is going on.

I have heard that background checks are related with security checks and not job verifications,actualy i have worked for my previous employer for 1.5 years and i am working with my presnt employer for more than 1.5 years now,my concern is with my previous employer that i have to remember them again and again that they may recieve a call regarding my experiance verification

I think as you have already received a request for medicals then it means your job verification is done, the only check they might be doing is a security check because if their were a problem with your documents you should have received a request for medicals, thats what i think.

Is there a time limit for the final decision after the medical?
The VO can verify the contents of your application at anytime before the issue of
visa.
But after getting medical and passport request, the chances are very rare.
So don't worry, if your case is genuine, go ahead for medical check. You
will definitely get the visa.
THEY MAY ASK YOU TO REPEAT URINE TEST IN CASE OF BLOOD, PROTIEN OR SUGAR IN YOUR URINE.
DO YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF DIABETES , HYPERTENSION, ?
THAT COULD BE THE REASON. YOU CAN ASK THE DMP WHY THEY ARE ASKING YOU TO REPEAT THE TEST, MAYBE YOU WILL GET AN IDEA. IF YOU HAVE HYPERTENSION, THEY WILL CHECK SERUM CREATININE WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN HIGH, IN THAT CASE I ADVISE YOU TO GO TO YOUR LOCAL CLINIC AND CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE ATLEAST TWICE ON SEPRATE OCCASSIONS BUT THAT HAS TO BE ATLEAST A WEEK APART. ANYWAYS IF YOU HAVE HIGH B.P. THEN GET YOUR CREATININE CHECKED, THAT SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.

i have consulted my family doctor and he got my urine tested completely the problem was that Red Blood Cells traces are there so he got an ultrasound for finding that whether any stones are there but nothing was found in ultrasound,so hope there is no problem.
