I just got my Citizenship Certificate in 3 months; however I have a CA birth certificate and live in the US. Very quick turn around given what I expected. Good luck!
 
Similar story here: Two months start to finish to get my proof of citizenship, with a US birth certificate and one parent born in Canada. One suggestion: if a Canadian consulate is close to you, check to see if they can provide notary services for the documents you need to send. Can't hurt. Good luck!

Wish I thought of that. Oh well, the UPS store did my notary; $30 well spent.
