So you said above, it is a 4 year program. That is $80k in tuition plus another $40k minimum in living expenses. So you set up another account that others contributed to to show tuition payment. Was it documented who is paying into the fund. If you only showed $40k then how will you pay for tuition and living expenses. A part time job will just cover living expenses.
Correct but this person is 21 with no personal funds. IRCC will wonder (after one refusal for lack of funds), how this person will pay $100k+ in tuition and expenses. Also, the account of $37k seems to be an account of multiple family members pooling money together. OP can apply again after paying tuition and showing $10k but this forum sees many refusals on this forum for lack of funds on the second and third applications. The reason is that the student is not showing own funds but those of "sponsors" such as family members. A part-time job will not cover three years of tuition plus living expenses.

To solve that issue one needs to apply under SDS, where bank statement is not required. And since 1 year fee and expenses are prepaid so IRCC doesn't even care where those funds came from. In case of regular stream, IRCC can't be sure if the funds shown collected from sponsors will remain available throughout the studies.

If eligible for SDS. You can provide bank statements from sponsors. If parents/grandparents, great. If from friends and other members, funds may or may not be factored in.

In granting the judicial review application relating to study permit refusal inCervjakova v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2018 FC 1052, Justice Noris noted that“[t]he applicant presented evidence that she had adequate funds to support herself and her family, especially considering that a policy manual states that the applicant’s ability to fund the first year of the proposed course of studies is the primary consideration. (After that, an applicant need only demonstrate a probability of future sources of funding.)”
