A letter from the SINP to the employer states that your worker has been nominated for the program, and

'Please be advised that it is the responsibility of John Doe (your worker) to maintain his/her legal status while working for you in Saskatchewan until CIC issues permanent residence status.

Does that mean he has to renew his work permit, which expires in May? I thought the nomination process replaced the need for a visa/permit
