Hello:
I am applying in may2014 under CEC but the T4, i have is only for year 2013 which only covers my 7 mnths (march2013-dec2013) of work experience. So what about next 5 mnths (jan2014-may2014) falling this year 2014 as I dont have T4 ?
What i do have:
1. Pay stubs
2. Reference Letters
3. T4 2013 covers my 7 mnth work experience.
What i do not have:
1. T4 for 2014 mnths
2. Work Contract documents
So what documents i can use to support my Work experience?
No one who is currently working will have a T4 for the entire work period. This is quite expected and I assure you that CIC visa officers know this quite well, since they are also taxpayers. That is why the instructions request the "most recent" T4 and NOA. If you don't have the NOA yet (also quite normal for this time of year), just add a note stating that you will send it as soon as you receive it (I'm assuming you have filed your tax return).
The single most important piece of evidence is the letter of employment. If you have that and it contains all the required details (outlined in the document checklist), then you do not need contracts or paystubs or any other extra material.

Hey Jes_on
I'm in the same situation...since i'm paid monthly, the calculations do not match exactly because of 12 months and 52 weeks salary calculations..I'm on a fixed salary..do i need to mention my hourly wage rate in the reference letter?? Also, is it a mandate to attach pay stubs or just the reference letter is fine?

You either have an hourly wage, or a salary (usually "annual"). Stick with one.
Not sure what you mean by the "calculations don't match." If you have an annual salary and your T4 represents (for example) only 8 months of work, VOs know how to prorate that for 8 months.
