Work Experience
Calibration Engineer - 6 months
Lab Instructor (control engineering) - 3 years
Areas of interest - robotics, automation, instrumentation, microcontrollers, PLC's etc
Favorite course found so far - Robotics & Industrial Automation - Conestoga
Does anyone know how good this college and course are?
Will one get a reasonable job studying this or what is the scope?
How easy is it to find a Co-op?
Some people said I could get admissions into Universities, some said no way.
Some say I should try jobs.
So what is your opinion?
It was last week that I got my IELTS score, until then I was fixed with the conestoga option, but since then I am unpeaceful. People around me suggest that I should try Universities. I am a weak in research and calculus, smoke starts rising from my head when I deal with them. I have been checking Universities one by one and I dont find something as specialized or interesting as the conestoga option. Another factor of my concern is the finance - Univ of Toronto and many others are very expensive. Anyone has got some insight to share about these. eg. some course / university etc?
Well I said go to a good university. I didn't say go to the BEST one.
You have enough options between a list of good universities all of which have reasonable tuition fees and probably have a suitable program.
I'm giving you a list of universities. It is up to you to check out their websites and programs though. No one will do that for you.
1. University of Victoria.
2. University of Alberta
3. Concordia University
4. Memorial University of Newfoundland
5. University of Calgary
6. University of Ottawa and Carleton University
