Every time I go through 'come to Canada' wizard to check my eligibility, I see not eligible. Why??
I am from India in USA on student visa. My education are below
1. Diploma in Industrial Electronics (evaluated by WES as Two year Diploma)
2. Associate Degree in computer science (evaluated by WES as Two Year Diploma)
3. B.Degree in Technical Management (evaluated by WES as Four year Bachelor)
Thanks for your help. Please answer one last question. What do I answer in question: In the last five years, do you have at least two years of experience in one of these types of jobs?
Does it mean experience in those 6 skilled work category that is listed in question OR any skilled category listed in NOC list. I have experience in NOC 2242. Do I say 'yes' or 'no' here??
There is something wrong with this Wizard. Even though I have just lied to system that my wife has enough IELTS score to get 5 points. Still it says you are not eligible. Thanks for your help sir.
@vasaya
I tried inputting ur answers & u are eligible to apply...
I mentioned 40 years as age / ur wife ielts @ 8 for LR & 6WS
I kept the amount u will take to Canada as $29000-$32000...you've four members and u are required to show around that much I guess...I think that is where u became ineligible because u may have kept $15000..
try again & see for urself and quickly get on with ur wife's ielts & filing
you getting a clb4 and above in second language French will further increase points however it won't be necessary...
However,you'll be eligible & can create EE profile,ur CRS score which ranks candidates in the EE pool depends a lot on ielts score and i suggest you retake and maximise ur score by scorinng CLB10 ie. 8.5 L 8R 7.5W 7.5S
check Canada visa CRS calculator and see how much u score with ur present ielts score and with the above score...
also a higher ielts score for ur wife further increase ur CRS score with 8L7RWS giving a maximum of 20 CRS points...
Also ur wife's ECA will increase points too...
