Hi all, kind of a silly question but I was just wondering for those out there who are sponsoring a spouse, how detailed should wedding details be in your experience when they ask for information about the wedding? They ask for location, date, number of attendees, if it was a religious ceremony and if family attended. When we gave all this information it was pretty bare bones, straight forward answers and it ended up being only one short paragraph. Everything was accurate and honest but wasn't sure if a couple sentences would be acceptable or if we have to describe more details than what they ask for. Thanks for the input!
Some people write a novel, others like yourself are straightforward and to the point. We did much the same as you. I think as long as you are backing it up with reasonable evidence such as photographs etc then I doubt whether the officer will be that bothered about whether the soup had too much salt or the vegetables were overcooked!
Answer the question, and let your pictures do the rest. Keep in mind that they have a lotttttttttttt to go through so they don't want to have to dissect your beautifully written paragraphs just to get the gist of your wedding.
What you wrote should be fine. I didn't even write a paragraph, just wrote the answers like, Guests: 50, Location: Old Whaling Station, city etc. I did include a lot of pictures.
