What are your views on THOMPSON RIVERS UNIVERSITY?

Can anyone tell me how the Unviersity is overall?

what are the job opportunities after graduation or even while studying?

I heard its full of INTERNATIONAL students, 1600 of them, is that corect?

also read its in a very small town , wherein there are many students so chances of part time jobs are slim to none......and even after graduating - it seems one has to go to other procvince or other part of that same provice where TRU is...in that case, all contacts made during studies at TRU will go waste...


Any thoughts on this?


Please help me, I have to make a decision whether to APPLY to that unviersity or not...because its not free I need to pay $100

Thank you for your response...since you discuss academics I have a question :

if I have the only choice of getting a POST_SECONDARY diploma at some college

OR

MBA from this University...


Which one should I go for?

Asking because I read somewhere -- that since I have no experince - even with MBA i will compete with people that have MBA and have job experience---when it comes to getting a job..


Whereas, when it comes to the Diploma ,, i will compete with diploma guys who got a diploma like me.....


Is this true or just some made up stuff to convince someone to not go for MBA?
