what are the requirments for getting married with a canadian citizen in india?

hi friends, i am from india, and my girlfriend is canadian citizen, we both want to get married in india and then we want to apply permanent residence for me to canada,
i want to know that what documents would we need to get married in india? what documents would need my girlfriend to show here from her side and what i would need to show and how much time it takes to get married in the registrar office in india? shall my girlfriend need to stay in india after we getting married till we get our papers of married and if yes so for how long she has to live?

please friends, help me and tell some all the information.

Documents depends on case to case basis. You can get married however you like. But, CIC required all the documentary proof whatever you write in your application and should be convensible.

Documents such as :

Marraige certificate,
How you met your girlfriend (chat, email or you went to meet her or has she came to India to meet you) air ticket copies (if you or your girlfriend flow together),
if both of you are the same religion,
how was the marriage rituals held,
how many people attended the wedding, (photos)
was you marraige supports by both of your parents,
photograhs of any trips together,
photographs with your parents,
etc..

These are few of the documents you may have to provide.
