The appendix A document check list is telling me to "supply four recent photos" of myself.. I was wondering what these were used for?
Are these the same photos that will be used for the immigration medical exam or am I going to have to take 4 more photos in separation from this check list?
These photos are getting really pricey

They are not the same photos that will be used for the medical exam. You need to have enough photos to cover the appendix A checklist and also the medical separately.
Awesome so I really need 8 photos. Even more $$$ to spend.
I may be wrong here. Usually the PR application requires 2 PR photos and another up to 4 PR photos for medical test. We had to produce up to 8 PR photos. 2 to go with PR application, 4 for medical test made 2 months prior to submitting application, and another 2 for PR card at landing.
