What are my chances of getting Student Visa?

My profile is
12th-61%
10th-72%
My marks are quite low in class 12 maths its just 33
IELTS= Overall 6.5 ( L.7,R.6.5,W.6.5, S.6)
I applied to Memorial university of Newfoundland and got an offer letter for Bachelor in science program.Is there Hope for me?

U r taking programme which has a requirement of math and whole course demand good skills of math while u scored low marks in that so lt might be a prblm.
Go for a cousre which is oriented in subject which u have good marks in 12th

Its a science program and You can only declare major after first year in university.Can't I convince visa officer that I intend to major in psychology or something which requires less Math?.

U can do that why don't u research on cousre structure and make notes of what u will study and how u will study and sum up all those notes in a study plan.

Getting visa not only Depends on ur marks In math it depends on several other factors like financial, ties, study

I know and I don't think I have a problem in other factors.Its just the marks of math in class 12 which seems to be a big issue to me.Would It be wise to study my bachelor of computer science in India and then apply for masters in Canada if my student visa gets rejected?.

If you have applied already then don’t think about approval or refusal just hope for the best,

If you get approved it is fine otherwise you will still have a lot of options like reapply with some major changes or as you said continue your bachelors in India

No one here can predict your chances of visa

I was unable to give cbse improvement exams.Do you Think Giving Improvement exams from NIOS board will help me getting a visa if I improve my marks in Math in that? do visa officers consider NIOS?

i would say go for an other program in Canada instead of those which requires strong mathematics background ( i dont know your field of study )

As you said to give an improvement exam, it is up to you if you think it can improve your score

Again I would say nothing is going to work unless you apply for a visa

My field is Non-medical.What other program do you Think Will be better?.Almost all science programs require some sort of Math and wouldn't taking a program not related to my field would effect chances of my visa negatively?

There is nothing in the checklist of immigration that you need to have only program which relates to your background

You can apply to any general program like related to your hobby and prove yourself as a bonafide student by writing a SOP and unconditional admission
