I had my MP look into my case file for me and apparently I have passed criminality verifications as well as security verifications (it notes currently valid)
They go on however to outline that my immigration verifications have not yet been initiated.
Does anyone know what this means? / How long once initiated is that process going to take?

My application shows waiting for immigration verification since last two month and I haven’t travelled anywhere since I came to canada ..can you please advice how much time does it take to get it checked ???

I have same question as you had asked before that what is immigration verification ?? as stated in my MP’s email reply from cic.
Now they transferred file to Mississauga on 6 March ...so do you know how much time does it take for test after received by local office??
I got my oath on 9 October but my wife did not get.
Upon inquiring they said that my wife's security clearance is pending.
I don't understand this. We both completed 6 yrs here in Canada, applied together, received citizen test together on January 20,2020,interviewd together by same immigration officer after citizenship test and now they say security clearance required in my wife's case.

No. In my understanding, he did not ask anything particular. The only different thing I noticed in my wife's case is that she was asked for her finger printing prior to citizenship test but I did not get finger print request.

Finger print was asked before citizenship test.
My wife had citizenship test on January 2020 and Fingerprint request received in October 2019,went to nearest police station and completed within a week.
Fingerprint was sent directly to CIC by RCMP,did not go through us.
