I had got my Canada PR Visa 2 months ago and I am going to visit Canada in a week for 10 days. What all formalities I need to do after landing into Canada? What all documents I need to carry with me? Please tell me that DOs and DONTs for this visit as Canadian culture is way different that Indian culture. Hope to receive responses soon.
The only thing you can realistically do in 10 days is get a SIN, and even that is not mandatory yet if you’re not going to be residing in Canada for now.

You MUST tell them you are 'landing to declare permanent residence and to 'activate your CoPR'.
They will direct you to a different desk for this. You MUST have your original and copy CoPR's and an in date passport. Depending on which immigration stream you used, you may also need proof of funds (not needed for spousal sponsorship).
You can do your 'goods accompanying / goods to follow' lists on your later landing when you land as settler. You do not have to get a SIN (Social Insurance Number) on this first trip, but until you do you will not be able to work in Canada. You need to go to a Services Canada office with your stamped copy CoPR and passport and ask for one.
