My wife just got a TRV for Canada for almost a year while we are waiting for a PRV, application received at the end of 2011... I like to know if it is a good indication.... Is there a connexion between Bangkok and Singapore when we ask for a TRV and PRV? What kind of treatment we will have while she will be waiting in Canada for the PRV...?
Unfortunately there's no connection between the TRV and PRV. They are evaluated separately.
Is it common to receive a 1 year TRV with multiple entry without difficulty...?

No, most for spouses are refused, as it is their intention to remain permanently rather than visit.
Thank you for your answers... just hope that is will be easy for the PRV while we gonna be in Canada together... we should be around the target for the delay in Singapore...
