Hi Guys,

I have completed BCA from Dharamsinh Desai University in Gujarat.

As it is a 3 years program it should be equivalent to a bacelors degree in Canada but it shows equivalent to community college diploma (3 years).

In WES official website, University name is mentioned as Dharmsinh Deai Institute of Technology not Dharamsinh Desai University. Is it the main reason that they are considering my Bachelors not from a University but from an Institute or so because BCA from any other university is equivalent to Bachelors degree in Canada. Please advise.

How many points should i get from CIC (CRS) for 3 years community college diploma??

Not all BCAs are equivalent to a Canadian bachelor's degree for an ECA.

Your bachelors degree was correctly assessed as obtained from Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Technology..... because that was the former name of Dharamsinh Desai University.

Nope, I did BCA from India and Diploma in Computing Level 7 (1 year Fiploma) from New zealand. Will this consider as well??

Yes. You'll need to check if WES will evaluate your NZ diploma

One last question, Is there any way that i can find out if WES is going to consider my Diploma or not because I know ICAS does or Should i directly reach them out. I would like to make sure before i pay application fees to WES.
