Hi friends,

My wife's ECA report got cancelled due to her name change and her educational documents are having her name before marriage we submitted affidavit along with supporting documents gazette,passport copy, I spoke WES representative they said the ECA will be issued on her maiden name or I have to contact the university here in India and request them to issue the marksheet on her name after marriage (which I don't think is possible)

Please suggest since it looks like we utilized all our time, hard work and money to get nothing

It looks like WES provided a recourse. Get the ECA with her maiden name and attach the name change affidavit when submitting your documents to CIC

Okay, will that be okay while sending the EE and also do we have get the documents attestion again from her college and university and pay the WES fees again.

No need to pay fees again. Contact WES and tell them to issue the ECA in maiden name.

It looks like WES provided a recourse. Get the ECA with her maiden name and attach the name change affidavit when submitting your documents to CIC
