I am Karan, working in American Express as senior consultant ( graduate with arts) where as my spouse is a Science teacher (M.sc in chemistry with B.ed). So actually i have some doubt regarding ECA evaluation. in our case my spouse will be the primary applicant and i would be the secondary one.
1. Do we both need to get our ECA done to claim points for secondary applicant as well
2. will ECA be required for the highest qualification or for every degree. like in my spouse case she is B. Sc, B.Ed and M.Sc. So in this case ECA would ve required for just B.ed with Msc, Msc with BSc or all ( B.sc, B.ed with Msc)
3. Just noticed that free ECA is also possibly done for free to get a rough idea.
4. I heard one thing that ECA reports comes in 2 froms. one is in pdf format and another is hard copy through delivery. May i know which one would be required for canada pr process.
Can sombody please clarify these doubt of mine, i will be really very very thankful for your support.

1. Yes, if you want to claim points you have to get eca done
2. For all degrees. You may be able to claim more points
3. You can use degree equivalency tool but not all universities are listed in that
4. They provide soft and hard copy both, there is no choice for you to select which one you want. After ITA you need to scan hard copy and upload it
