Guys
I received an email from rome embassy
they only says
this is to inform you that your application has now been assessed and concluded.
Please arrange for the pick-up of your documents by a courier within the next 7 working days.
You must instruct the courier company that the envelope addressed to you is available at the Reception of the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy and must be collected from Monday to Thursday (our office is closed to public on Fridays) between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. You should also inform them that the envelope will not be released without your name and surname.
what does it mean??
i mean they only want to give the documents back but nothing concerning the passport?
is it normal?
or is it something bad happening>?
I have read your posts before and we are in the EXACT SAME BOAT. Rome started our applications on the same day and finished today too! Rome sent us the SAME E-Mail today and we panicked! There should be no troubles but no passport request was made and no interview request either. WE would really love to hear what this means as we are now arranging the pick-up of our documents as requested and we are left clueless in Greece!!
You need to slow down you going to give yourself a heart attack. It may just be your pictures and documents you sent to them,it may also be a letter asking for your passport,You dont know so there is no sense getting stressed about it.I think they do these things on purpose.Just get a courier to pick them up for you and when you get them you will know.I know this process drives everyone to the brink, but you need to just relax a bit.
Did you check out other forums about Rome?
i know...
i need to slow down and relax....anything will change. I was only wondering if someone is refused they ask for pick up his stuff in 7 days...that s why.
especially this 7 days scaries me. why do they want me to pick my stuffs in 7 days? anyway i will know tomorrow.
in internet they say application in process./
about other forums...I would like to know but here I did not find anything...do u know maybe?
I do not know what this email means, but I am sure it does not mean a refusal. Why? Because if they refuse your PR application, you can appeal, and when you appeal the visa office has to send a copy of your application, including all your evidence and supporting documents, to the Immigration Appeal Board and Border Services. Therefore if they are going to refuse your application, they have to keep your application and all your supporting docs.
let s see...
u know there are 5 kg of documents inside...5 kg!!!!
and maybe they want me to pay these 5 kg to th immigration appeal board!
who knows...it s a strange email and we are two who received the same one yesterday!!
No. They only send it to the appeal board once they receive notice from you that you want to appeal. You need the refusal letter before that.
The fact that two people got the same letter makes me think it is not related to your change of address.
yes it is true
i have also read here that it is not usual to refuse and reject an application like that, without not even an interview or asking for additjonal documents...is it right?
