Hello,

After applying to citizenship and submitting official translation of all stamps in the passports, we lost three passports. I made a police report and I am working on issuing new passports.

The question is what to do about the lost stamps? Do I start issuing entry/exit report for every country we have been during eligibility period? This include reports from USA, UAE, and Egypt. I do not know how to do UAE one unless I send a power of attorney document to a friend that lives there to do it.

When you say submitting official translation, does that mean you already provided that to CIC, or the translators lost your passport? If it's already with CIC, I think you only have to work on getting the new passport as they already have the previous information.

Hi CIC has the official translation. We lost the passports afterwords (The translator did not lose them).

But I heard that CIC official has to see the stamps on original passports to verify the translator document.

Oh Yeah, at the interview. But if it's lost and you have a Police report I think it would be fine. But did you use a certified translator? If so, I don't think you would have a problem. Just call CIC to make sure, I don't want to give you bad advice.

Hi. Yes, we have used a certified translator. I am working on getting record of Entry/Exit now before calling CIC.
