I am trying to get options to bring my wife after marriage to Canada.
1> visitor visa after marriage.
2> bring her for study work permit.
did anyone tried second option? is it doable? I checked some courses they are of 10-12K. I think my wife needs to clear ILETS.
Let me know, if anyone has tried this option. Can she apply for study permit/course before marriage and I can give letter that she is my fiance and I will take care of her expenses or by doing this I may complicate my spouse sponsorship file
She can certainly try applying for a study permit. To be approved, she (or you) will need to demonstrate that you have available funds (e.g. bank balance) to cover first year tuition + $10K living expenses + $2K to $3K travel expenses. So you will want to demonstrate a balance of at least $25K. She will also need to demonstrate that she is a genuine student and isn't just using the study permit as a means of getting into Canada. To prove she is a genuine student, the program she decides to take in Canada must make sense in light of her previous education and any work experience. She must also provide evidence of ties to her home country.
Offering to sponsor her studies will not complicate the spousal sponsorship file.
