I gave a shot and applied for MEng, ECE at Waterloo for Fall 2014. Completed my application by mid-December. What's your profile? Waiting for decision feels like forever.

Hey Ethanet ,

I also have applied for ECE but app was completed early last month ..
Profile isn't that great really for Waterloo but still i gave it a really loooooong shot

Diploma in ECE : 75%
BE ECE : 62%
Work Ex : 50 months as of today
Industry : Network and data comm
Certifications : CCNA and CCNP
IELTS : 8.5

yes the waits awefull really but there is very little that we can do than wait and watch..
BTW...where else have u applied ?

I have applied at UNB and Carleton. My CGPA is 7.5/10 and IELTS score is 7.5 bands, 3 months of work experience.

I got a rejection on 22nd April.

Sorry about that, but you should have seen on their website, the minimum acceptable average is 78%

Sorry to hear that Ethanet.... Even i am waiting for updates from Waterloo...

Meanwhile i have an admit from Ryerson. Not sure if i should go for it since its a 1 year course and leaves me with 1 year PGWP

Any of u have a good idea on how the Ontario PNP works ??
