I rolled into the airport yesterday, went through immigration, and got a passport stamp on my (American) passport with a number on it, a generic paper saying "Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada. As a new resident, you have the same rights as a Canadian citizen, except the right to vote in Canada", a pamphlet from the Canadian government saying, "New to Canada? We can help you succeed", and finally, a janky looking paper explaining to me how to declare an address.

I feel like I was supposed to receive paperwork confirming that I've landed?
