I know it looks funny to study again after getting post graduate work permit. I just got three year post graduate work permit and now I want to take classes for security worker certificate is this possible to take classes now while cic clearly indicate that not authorize to classes or any professional courses unless authorized. I still have study permit till december 2015. Do i need to apply study permit or any other kind of permit that will authorize me to take classes without changing my status in canada that is temporary worker now.

AS long as your study permit is valid you can take classes, if you notice PGWP states no studying unless authorized which is not true in your case since you already have a valid study permit. Also, I am assuming your security course is a short course i.e. less than 6 months, for that you don't need study permit anyways. Good Luck!!

I have confirmed this and was told I can study as long as my study permit is valid. I am not sure with the new rules coming in if anything is going to change.
