Want to begin EE profile while waiting IELTS score - Eligibility Questionnaire

Hi everyone,

I want to begin working on my EE profile while waiting for my IELTS result (not submitting, just entering data etc.).. It is expected to come on a Friday, so I want to be able to submit my profile as soon as I have that...

But in order to do that, I need to fill out the initial eligibility questionnaire on this link to get a reference code: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

Can I enter the results of my old IELTS (expired) and put the date of the IELTs I did a few days ago? Will they be looking at the answers I enter into this eligibility form at any point...
When populating my EE profile, of course, I will enter everything only after I receive it and will submit only once I have all documents.

I tend to obsess over things and have a need to go through the entered info several times before submitting... so I want to have enough time to do everything again and again, making sure of it all.... and then just enter real IELTs result once received, and submit asap... just in case there may be a draw that day.. (though I know that I will recheck everything another 3 times... and I will have to do Job Bank etc all within a few hours)..

You don't even need to do a questionnaire. You can go straight to MyCIC website and start creating your profile. That's what I did while i waited for my results. Once they came through I logged back in and updated sections that were not complete.
