My wife is currently waiting for Inland PR interview at Hamilton CIC.
I was told by a CIC representative via helpline that it was about 6-8 weeks.
Can anyone advise me how long this takes and does the waiting period increase
during the summer as a result of staff going on summer holidays.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Decoy was not trying to rush anyone just give some other options for responses on times related to other CIC offices. I will be moving to Toronto and did not want to be in the situation where my file had to be transferred to another local office.
Anyway thanks for the reply and I will await any reply patiently.
Yes it was April 18th same as you and I saw your post as well. As noted when I called the CIC helpline they suggest 6-8 weeks. They also are busy in the summer with other issues as I think they process migrant workers, citizenship matters and so on. I also think like most they start thinking about summer holidays.
So if the goes beyond June 30th then could be in for longer wait as families on vacation I mean the CIC employees. But in general I have heard its a reasonable office.
I think it will be okay lets see and keep me updated with your situation.
I now this is a bit too late.....i just applied to the Hamilton office......can anyone share their timeline on the inland interview process at Hamilton office. Thanks
