I am waiting on my Express Entry PR application to be approved (it is currently saying it is ~75% done, and due to be completed in April).
During that time (recently) my 2 year work permit expired. I mixed up the dates and didn't submit my application for my bridging open work permit until 5 days after my 2 year work permit had expired. Have I messed up big time??
Now I'm concerned I'm going to get denied for my bridging permit and/or my PR application.
Does anyone have any experience with this and can tell me, will I be ok? I have still paid for and submitted the bridging visa.
Am I on implied status currently while awaiting my PR?
You needed to submit an application to restore before you applied for the BOWP. Your BOWP will be rejected as you were out of status. You must stop working the day your work permit expired. You do not get implied status.

Yes, you messed up. You are currently in Canada without status. If you are still working, you are working illegally and need to stop now. If you are within 90 days of your work per it expiry, as said above, you need to apply for Restoration. If it is past 90 days, you need to leave Canada.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes that is what I figured so I've already stopped working.
It is inside 90 days so I hope that I am able to get a Restoration of Status approved.
