Hello all,
My husband and I are considering what we can do in order to be together as the wait time is becoming unbearable. As he has a visitor's visa for Canada, are there any issues for him to come to Canada and wait for his PR approval here?
Additionally, as he is a Serbian citizen, he cannot enter the US without a visa. Would he be able to exit Canada at the US border, re-enter, and "land" in that way?
We also saw that it was possible to land by requesting an appointment at a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office. Have any of you done this?
Thank you in advance for your help! :)

It's no problem at all. Countless applicants have done this. Just make sure he acts like a visitor when entering Canada ( so have return ticket, luggage for a visitor, etc).

Yes it's fine. US will just give an administrative refusal and can then return back to Canada side for PR landing.

It's fine as well, just need to call IRCC office for an appointment. Depending how busy they are, could take weeks to months.
