Waiting for PR Card, Can I travel to India?

Another question if you don't mind.
My passport expires in May 2022, currently, I have my eCOPR and waiting for PR Card.
Can I renew my passport now? Will I have to update CIC about it or anything to be changed in eCOPR?

I did renew my passport and didn't inform CIC about it. Also I went to India and came back too, faced no issues.

Can you please elaborate?

I have a TRV to expire April 2022 - I will be travelling next week. I just got my ECOPR and i was wondering if maybe i can board the airline using my TRV. Was that same situation as yours?

TRV is invalid after you get your eCOPR. If you don't get your PR card before your flight then you will have to apply for PRTD to return back to Canada : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...migrants/pr-travel-document/how-to-apply.html

yeah I read that and was hoping that TRV could be used lol just to get on the plane HAHA!
