I have a Saudi working visa that was stamped on my passport that was cancelled.
During that time I wasn't able to make the travel due to personal problems.
I ask my supposed employer to cancel the issued visa with the Saudi embassy and they agreed.
Will this have a negative impact once I submit my passport for visa stamping?

I' ve been to KSA before. I have accepted a job offer from a company; but this company cannot give me a definite date of mobilization since my employment will be based on start of an upcoming project. I told the employer to cancel my visa and give it to others and they agree. I am receiving a lot of job offers during those time from other gulf countries which is more open than Saudi that I accepted.
Since; I am not a current resident of KSA I made a letter explaining to visa office that I cannot obtain a PCC and I guess they accepted it since I am now waiting for my PPR.
My worries is if I should renew my passport so as my cancelled visa will not show coz it might give a negative impression to reviewing officer.
You don't have to worry about the stamped visa on your passport. Any unused visa on any ones passport will automatically invalid or get cancelled when the allowed time limit expires.If you were/are not a resident of Saudi Arabia and if you have not stayed there for more than 6 months, you don't need even a PCC from there. I don't see any good reason for your confusion. Take it easy.
