waiting for an interview date/Vietnam

i've been waiting 8 week without an interview date, anyone in the same situation as i am...getting frustrated and cant sleep hope this end soon...

It usually takes 1 year or more for your interview since the day you got the letter of saying your wife on interview list. You need to wait more than just 8 weeks. Good luck.

I think we are in same boat received letter saying i am on waiting list to be schedule for interview received a letter on November 28,2009 still waiting to be schedule for interview please update us as well once you receive a letter of the interview date and i will do the same.

which visa office are you applying @ max??
this is my email from singapore office hopefully it is true and its not one year waiting
The file has been sent to the interview queue.

The applicant will be seen eventually by one of our officers.

Please note that there is currently a backlog of files to be interviewed in Vietnam and that the interview might not take place for a few months.

my wife received letter in vietnam in Sept 2010 and stating that the interview is in queue 18 months. wondering if thats between sept and 18 months or is it actully in 18 months. this whole this is so stressful. we are still waiting for the interview. you guys got email and not actual letter from singapore?

Hey guys, I'm also waiting for an interview by Singapore. Plus also placed in the DNA queue.
This is an email response from Singapore, when I asked them:

Mr. Muon,

The applicant's file will remain in the interview queue and the DNA queue and one does not automatically result in a delay in the other. Please wait to hear from our office with respect to interview and/or DNA sample collection dates.

please any advice for me . i,m so disapointed about my life how long have to wait for interview date sir ? since i recived letter i a m on interview quree on sep 17th 2011 till no news from singapore yet . appriciate ur great help.
