Hello Friends
I have volunteer myself for Canada Day and I have to attend a mini interview and they will see the security aspects.
My PR will expire next month and I have not meet my RO yet and not before next year.Do you think being a volunteer can have a negative impact on my stay in Canada.

Unless you are volunteering to work the CBSA or CIC booth at the Canada Day event, I doubt they will care. The check will be for criminality....not meeting RO is not a criminal offence. Besides, your PR isn't expiring, your card is.....2 different things and not mutually interchangeable!
The PR status doesn't just expire. Your PR card expires though. Different story!
If you're in Canada and, if you're able to stay long enough you could keep your PR status. Volunteering has no impact on your status, why would you think it would have a negative impact?
To keep your status you would have to be present in Canada for 730 days within a 5 year period.
Thank you guys...You are all Awesome.
