Visitors Visa to Canada

Hello,

My husband was adopted to Canada and I was wondering if his biological mother can apply for a visitors visa or do we need to refer to her as his aunty?

I'm aware you cant sponsor biological parents if you've been adopted but this is just a visitors visa!

We will be covering all expenses so I assume we will need to write a letter of invitation but if we need her to apply as an aunty will the letter of invitation suffice or does she still need to prove assets?

She would need to apply as his biological mother. She will also need to show sufficient funds to support her visit. Your financials are secondary.
