I am married to a Canadian citizen and living in Canada, waiting for documents to submit application for permanent residence. My visitors record is good through May.

I don't have a job here, so I don't know how to fill out the employment section of the application. For the Current Occupation/ Activity section, should I fill it with "n/a" or write "unemployed"? And then would I fill in the "to" date with 6 months from now or...?

Also on "coming into canada"... if I came in on a visitors record (the officer wrote a note on it "issued to begin application for permanent residence") should my original purpose be "family visit" or "other" with an explanation.
On "details of visit to canada"... how do I honestly fill in this section if we have no travel plans?
