Hi I would like to get some advice about visiting. My gf left Canada Oct. 23, 2022; however she’s planning to comeback to Canada for our 1 year this January 20,2023 and I found this place to get some advice. I know that I have to talk to immigration Canada but they are close right now because it’s weekends. If she comes back here after 3 months will the CBSA consider this as red flag? How can she provide strong proof that she’s not going to stay in Canada indefinitely? Is a copy of her acceptance letter in Japan and itinerary be enough evidence?

There's no 100% answer but if she's only visiting Canada, has a return ticket and not showing up with all of her worldly belongings, it's relatively rare that CBSA causes big problems about this.
She has her ETA expiring 2027 January. I’m just wondering if the officer will be suspicious about her coming back again in Canada because she stayed in Canada for 3 months and she went back to Japan after. She’s only staying here for 2 months and then come back to Japan to start her teaching job.
