Retired parents from India, we want to visit our son in 2022 Feb When to apply for avisitor visa, do IRCC still have travel ban?

You can apply for visitor visa now. There was a ban on direct flight. India to Canada travel was always open via 3rd countries.

For proof of relationship between applicant (parents) and PR, is passport page sufficient stating parents name? Or is birth certificate mandatory as well?
