Visitor Visa while Sponsorship in progress

Hello All,
I apologize in advance if this is not the right thread since I am touch a few topics here. I am Canadian PR living in Canada and my spouse's PR sponsorship is in process. My spouse has Visitor Visa. In the mean time I am also planning to apply for Visitor Visa for my Parents and In Laws just to have it ready if they need to visit Canada in future (not right now). Will applying for visitors visa for my parents and In Laws in the context of visiting me have any negative effect on the spousal sponsorship(which is a priority)? What are the chances of getting Visitor Visa recently in Covid situation?

No, it won't affect the PR application. Chances may be low, but depending on their circumstances. Note, they are also NOT processing (or very low priority) visits by non-immediate family members (you can look up definition).
