Is it still possible to walk-in and submit the application in the NY office?
I remember from two years ago hearing that it was quicker (done in two days!) compared to the mail-in which I did and ended up not getting the visa even after 30 days and canceling my trip.
I looked at the visa website and it does not show a walk-in option, just online and in-person VAC.
I have a non-immigrant US visa, and I live in the US, so I cannot use the VAC right?
Has someone recently done the walk-in visitor visa application in NY and if so, can you please share your experiences?

Do you know how long the processing might take, if we apply for visitor visa online?
Is the processing time shown on the website for online applications? If so, it says 42 days in NY!
Is there any other way to get the visa processing done in a few days?
I recall the walk-in was supposed to be super quick!
