I'm in Canada on WP till 2025, recently I've applied visitor visa for my friend who is in USA on H1B. His CAN visitor visa request got approved for a period of 3 years, but for my parents in IND got approval for 10 years. Trying to understand the reason behind 3 year period, anyone have any insights on this? Appreciate the support.

Your friend's passport probably expire in 3 years.
