Hi Guys
So am trying to find various options to have my parents visit Canada.
Is the following possible:
- My parents apply for a visitor visa and then once they come here, we fill up a supervisa application and submit it. Is this possible?
- Should my parents apply for supervisa only when they are outside canada?
- Do we first need to revoke the visitor visa before applying for supervisa? Or is it possible to just extend it?
1. No they must be back home to apply.
2. Yes
3. No. You can apply for supervisa while still have a TRV
You may not qualify for supervisa yet. Often CIC wants to see your NOA with above the LICO amount.

Oh okay. But yeah I do qualify based on the minimum income requirements.

It isn’t about salary. You have to prove that you have earned the LICO amount in Canada that is why a NOA showing the amount of money you have earned is preferred. You can certainly apply with other income proof but f you get denied I would wait until you get NOA. TRV is mainly dependent on your parents.

Yeah I have the NOA that exceeds the LICO amount in Canada.
