Hi,
I am a Peruvian citizen resident in London (Masters student). I need to apply for a TRV for Canada soon because I'll to attend an academic competition in Canada.
I am a resident in the UK but recently my BRP was stolen outside the UK. I applied for a BRP replacement visa abroad and once in the UK I applied for a BRC replacement card which it can take up to 8 weeks.
My travel history is good and have the financial support for 10 days (my planned trip) But i'm worried that it wouldn't be enough if I can't show my legal permit in the uk.
Is it possible to apply without the physical BRP card ? What other evidence besides the physical BRP card can I provide to show my LEGAL status in the uk?
- Photocopy of my previous brp card (already cancelled after reported as stolen)
- Application confirmation for the BRP RC from the UKVAS
- UK BRP replacement visa stamp (still valid) or TIER 4 uk visa (expired)
- Student letter from my university which state I'm a full time student till next september? (This is a student status rather than a legal status right?)
Travel History:
- 2 US tourism visa, 1 US work visa
- 4 UK student visa (short term and tier 4)
- 2 Schengen visa in the past (non-visa national currently)
- 1 residence permit in Chile
- 1 Mexican tourism visa in the past (non-visa national currently)
Also got several entries between UK/Europe/USA
Thank you
