I am an Indian Passport Holder currently living in Dubai. I am required to attend a conference on behalf of my company in Vancouver next week and I applied for my VISA online on the 21st May. The website stated 15 days for processing the application. I have an official letter from the organizers of the conference and from my company along with the tickets, hotel information, travel history etc. The online status says - "We are reviewing your eligibility". It will take sometime to stamp the VISA as well. I leave on the 15th and now I am desperate.
Questions -
1. How much time does it take after the application reaches this phase?
2. Is there a way to expedite VISA Stamping?
I would've applied through a VAC but I called them and they mentioned 30-45 days, I checked online and it said 15 days. I obviously preferred online option for faster processing, however my colleagues who applied via the VAC got their applications in 2 weeks. I am not sure what I should do, I am really worried. Please help!
