Hi All,

I have a question from all of you. I am a student in USA and wanted to see my aunt in Canada.I applied for the Canadian visitor visa on 1st October and I did my bio-metric on 13th October in new York. According to them it says it will take 14 days to give the decision but Its been a long time I am waiting for their decision. Should i call the embassy and ask them about the status of my visa or should i wait for few more days.

Looking forward for everyone reply.
 
The processing times posted online are just estimates. It can take anywhere from a few days to a few months to process an application. There's no point contacting anyone. You just have to wait.

It's quite possible processing will take 2-4 months. Again, nothing you can do but wait.
 
No i did not receive anything from them yet after doing my biometrics. Waiting for their response... just waiting

Today after waiting 1.5 months i got an email that they required my passport. Can anyone tell me that from which courier service should i sent my passport to them and what things should i sent them except the passport and letter request.
