i have a question, my wife initial entry to Canada occured in Jan 08 ( came from INdia to Canada) , and in Febrary 08 we went to us and reentered Canada on Feb 10, her passport was not stamped with any dates so she is allowed to remain for 6 months.
my question is which date we should consider as her start date for this 6 month duration?
is it going to be Jan 08, 2016 ? or Feb 10 2016 ?
i have heard that visiting US and reentering to canada doesnt extend the duration automatically ?

it was so hard to validate this anywhere in the CIC website. her passport is stamped with Feb 10 entry date alongside the Jan 08 date and with no restriction of last date so i am good for 6 months i.e upto august first week.
